About Us

.We are the Isle of Man's only Christian Bookshop, and have been serving the island since 1971.

Our mission has been the same since day one.

Since our first day on the 3rd July 1971, we have been dedicated to serving the Christian community on the Isle of Man with quality books and other resources. Furthermore, our presence in the heart of Douglas enables us to serve as a Christian witness to the wider community.

We believe our calling is an important one — to equip others in their ministries, to enable the saints to follow their calling, and to encourage and uplift those who may be discouraged or weary. We have been doing this for over fifty years, and though much has changed, our core belief remains the same: Christian books change lives.

If our mission resonates with you, please see how you can support us or get involved!

Staff and Volunteers

As a shop we rely on volunteers to keep our doors open. Our team does a fantastic job serving the community and is passionate about ensuring Christian resources are available in Douglas.

We employ one manager on a part-time basis to handle the more involved jobs within the shop, such as maintaining stock, advertising, and managing the bookshop's online presence.
